Twisty Pisty Lamp ::::

:::::::::::: The ReMix
We were out at the local thrift store checking out the new stuff. Normally my eye gravitates toward larger solid wood and metal pieces. I miss the small stuff.
My friend brought this piece to my attention. I is a cool score. I love the pieces crooked, twisting, curvy, unpredictable shape- It reminds me of my life. 
Also the shape is unique.
The lamp did not have hardware nor a shade. Since the lamp is going to placed in room with many squares, I knew that a round shape was what it called for.
My friend purchased the lamp, I’m remixing it. Because she’s impatient, she couldn’t wait to find the shade at a thrift store. She purchased the shade at ‘Home Goods’. Thankfully we found the correct shape, it is round, and it cost $10 bucks. A great deal.
The lamps original color was black. It had a few nicks in it.

The ReMix is to paint it a metallic copper color. A steel wool pad will be used to rough up the surface, giving it a worn burnished look. Lastly, apply the new skin to the lampshade. The exact look the lamp and the room it’ll be in needs.
