Storied Storage Chest ::::

I purchased this Craftsman style storage chest a few days ago for $28.00. It is a true treasure.
Depth and strong character, the chest has a wide, fat and explosive grain. Many knots also add to its on-of-kind look.
It is large, measuring 1ft x 3 1/2 ft x 3 1/2 ft. I’m sore from picking it up.
It’ll look great in a great room, bedroom or family style basement.
I’ll keep you up-to-date on the project’s progress

The project has been compeleted. It looks great.
The project was a a blessing and a curse. Sanding the project
was difficult because the wood had many insightly
imperfections. The wood wouldn’t relent. Thankfully
the notty wood showed through once the stain was
applied.
I love wood grains that are impefect. The storage chest
is like a favorite pair of slippers a bit worn, yet warm and comfortable.
