These pictures are a friend’s keepsakes. Some pics we unframed, while other were in different types of mismatched frames.
As a Christmas present, her memories where reMixEd, giving them new life and presenting the pics in a artistic form. Also, the pics were unified adding not only balance to the room but also a neat looking focal point.

(1) The original matte colors were white; they were repainted blood red
(2) Frames were painted flat black
(3) The original light blue bases were repainted black using a chalkboard paint
(4) Hung everything on the wall (made sure the measure twice 
)

Thanks for the post. I’d hoped to create a piece that used many “previously owned” parts. Thank you Goowill stores. Additionally, I wanted it to be striking and unique.
The matte color (red) was selected to juxtapose the black picture frames and picture bar. Interestingly I used Rustoleum on each matte. Color intensity is off the chart. Also, it added a unique texture to each frame. The texture can be seen by the naked eye.
