Heavy Metal Storage Locker ::::

I was dumpster diving one day. I lived in Philly a few years ago. There was a huge Waste Management dumpster outside my apartment. I found a rug, chair, microwave stand (almost new) and other goodies.
On this day, I found a beat up locker. I had a locker like this one in school. My gym, bally fitness, also has these lockers.
Lyon Workspace Products is the company that manufactured the steel locker.
I didn’t know how I’d use the locker. But, like most items I pull from dumpsters, its ‘bones’ were strong. It is made out of steel. The biggest issue is the rust. Sandpaper would take care of this problem.

The locker didn’t have structural issues. This is why it’s ‘bones’ are perfect. But, it has tons of rust. Therefore, I had to do a ton of sanding. Nothing else.
(1) Sanding, Sanding and more Sanding.
(2) Apply a clear coat to protect against rust
